Remember when I used to post my OBSESSION OF THE WEEK… like every week? Yea so it was good while it lasted. Time has told me a weekly edition, for right now, isn’t in my deck of cards. So instead? An obsession of the MONTH! That’s right. All of my favorites coming to you monthly! This month seems to have a summer theme! Who says summer has to end after Labor Day!!

// This… purse? One of my favorite makeup artists I’ve ever worked with, Danielle Decker (aka: Double D), first introduced me to this little gem while on set in LA for a shoot like 2 years ago. I became immediately obsessed with its ability to carry a phone and a driver’s license and a card in a sleek and light way. Fast forward 2 years and a baby later, I find myself heading out of the house to run quick errands and dreading carrying a big purse OR loosely carrying my items in fear I’ll drop them and lose them. I’ve always been a big purse girl until I realized… “hey why the heck have I been carrying a big heavy purse when all I need is my cell phone, DL, a CC, and my lips?”

// This fitness watch. I got a FitBit 2 years ago or so. I really wanted to track how many steps I was taking in a day. I loved wearing it for the motivation to get me to walk even further that day to reach my goal!! BUT what I didn’t love was how sporty this looked. I wanted something I could wear on a daily basis, and when I’m dressed up and wearing a cute gold watch… this kinda looks clunky with it. And then I discovered this watch. Not only is it so cute, but it comes with both a sport band and a gold metal band to dress it up. It tells me the time so I no longer need to wear a separate watch with this. AND it tells my steps, and calories burned, and how well I slept. I seriously love it! Keeping fit in an oh-so-cute way :) Day and night :)

// This nail color and this top gel coat. If you know me, you know my intense need to have perfect nails. The slightest chip and it immediately throws my mood off. I feel like crap and all disheveled. While I love getting no-chips, they get expensive plus I have to have someone take it off for me. But I also hate having to paint my nails ever 2 days. So the first love is the nail color. I loooooove white nails. It makes me feel tan and fresh. Essie’s Marshmallow is perfect and not too stark white like Essie’s Blanc. For some reason the color makes me feel great :) AND I also tried the gel top coat? OMG guys. I painted my nails 5 days ago and it’s yet to chip.

// This exfoliating peel. I’ve become obsessed with skin care. I’ve struggled for awhile to find a good exfoliator. I feel like most things I find just don’t do the trick. But this stuff? Whoa. Like crazy love. You put it on and leave it for 10 minutes then wash it off. I didn’t realize just how smooth my skin could feel until I used this. My skin looked so much healthier afterwards! I use it every 3 or so days!

// This self tanner. Okay okay so normally I’d never buy a celebrity’s beauty product, as history has proved they’re usually awful. But I kinda like this stuff!! With just having had a baby, I haven’t been able to exactly go to the beach or lay by a pool whenever I want, so this girl has ZERO color. I found this stuff at Ulta and decided to give it a try. I really love it! Numerous people have commented at my natural looking tan! I think if your base is really white, maybe this may look orange. Not sure, but on my base color it looks super natural and (I feel) makes me look healthier).

// This lotion. Ahhhh this is a total obsession. I LOOOOOOOOVE the small of coconut. Like LOVE! It makes me feel so summery and soooo happy!! But I’m particular with my coconut smell. I stumbled across this lotion when I was checking out one day at Ulta. They had it at the front as a sample. Whoa. Game changer. This stuff smells so so good! Almost like a coconut lime. I’m in love. Plus it’s an amazing moisturizer!

// This salt spray. Going along with the summer theme this month, I love to take advantage of my hair’s natural waviness. It’s summer so why not :) While I can’t get to the beach, specifically the ocean, this spray smells so good and reminds me of being in the ocean. It brings me to a happy place! Such great waves with this stuff!
