I met Nicole and Steve in December of last year. Upon first meeting them, I instantly fell in love with their personalities. They are so incredibly laid back and clearly in love with each other. They put out such good vibes. I left our meeting just hoping and praying that they’d pick me to do their wedding! And pick me, they did!!

Nicole and Steve met at Steve’s work in 2009. Nicole, a designer by day, had designed save-the-dates for her good friend. Being the good designer that she is, we went to the printer to check proofs to make sure the save-the-dates looked gorgeous! And there, in that moment, is where she met Steve. He instantly fell head-over-heels in love with her, and the rest is history.

Flash forward 6 years to Maine, where Steve’s family is from. Steve knew it was time to make Nicole his forever, and where else to do it but the beach where he spent such a large chunk of his life at – Popham Beach! There, on August 4th, 2015, he got down on one knee and asked Nicole to marry him with a beautiful ring he made with one of his grandmother’s diamonds.

Flash forward again 8 months and we met for our engagement session. I got to spend so much time with them, learning about them. Their families. And I got a sneak peek into the true love they hold for each other. It made me so extra excited for their big day!!

They are two of the most chill and relaxed people I’ve met, and their wedding was no different! They tied the knot in an intimate wedding of 50 people at Lillstreet Lofts. From the “Star Wars” themed music as they walked down the aisle together, to the moving vows, and the touching speeches later that followed from family — this wedding was nothing short of beautiful!!

Congrats, Nicole and Steve! I am so honored and humbled that you chose me to be a part of your lives on such a special day. I wish you more happiness than words can describe!!

And on a personal note, this wedding was extra special to me because it was my first wedding I shot after giving birth to my babe, just 5 1/2 weeks later!
