Whoa guys!! My last blog post was 3 weeks ago… and then silence. Why? Because this girl has been running crazy with shooting weddings – 5 in 3 weeks – hence the silence of blog posts! BUT have no fear, I have so many GORGEOUS weddings coming your way. Like… GORG…wait for it…. EOUS – GORGEOUS! But in the meantime, my little dude just turned 2 months old yesterday and this momma is in utter disbelieve!! Here’s what’s new!

Baby // Seriously guys! How has time flown so fast?! I cannot believe how big he’s getting and how fast!! This was him just 1 month ago. NOW look at him!! He’s continued to be the absolute best baby. We brought him to the doctor on Monday for his 2 month appointment where he got all his shots! The doc is super happy with how healthy and happy he is! After measuring his weight, length, and head, we found out that this kid is going to be huge! Luckily his weight is in a healthy/average percentile. But his height? He’s in the 90s. And his head? OMG guys, he’s almost 100! Yep, big Norwegian kid. Watch out NFL. Future TE coming your way <3 The other amazing thing that happened? Ever since he was born, the doctor told us how often to feed him. For the last month, we’ve been told to feed him every 4-5 hours (unless he asks for it sooner). So at night, we’ve had to set alarms to make sure we were feeding him. Well now we no longer have restrictions. It’s just whenever he’s hungry. While this kid loves his milk, he also loves his sleep which means he’s sleeping 8 hours a night straight every night! For real guys. He’s a dream baby!!

My favorite part of 2 month old Landon? How much he talks and coos and looks at me and smiles and giggles! Ooooh those baby giggles!! Every time Jake or I get our faces close to him, he breaks out into a massive smile. He also likes to mock the noises we make. It’s adorable. Then he’ll break into a giggle. He loves to talk! And is SO interested in discovering the world around him. Thank you Jesus for blessing us with the best baby!

Momma // As for me? I’m still feeling great and like my normal self! As I mentioned above, I dove into shooting weddings at just 5.5 weeks post-baby. Since then in the past 3 weeks, I’ve shot 5 weddings! The first one took some adjusting post-wedding. I felt more tired than usual the day after. But now? Full of energy and loving everything going on in life! A month ago, I mentioned that I was down 20lbs since before I was pregnant. Still at that same point and more motivated than ever to keep moving towards my health goals!! I just started working out a week or so ago. Jake and I are going to start Shred415 this week! I’m so excited! We’re both making a commitment to transform our bodies and our health to be better versions of ourselves for Landon. To make sure we’re around for a long time. And more than anything, to set an example for him on the life we hope he’ll live and follow!!
