Okay okay okay, so I’m a little late with this post :) We’re well into January (12 days in) but who’s counting!

Over here there have been tons of changes happening. Of course there was this announcement which sparked us moving. We had planned to maybe move in March but things accelerated faster than anticipated and we found ourselves a few days before Christmas realizing that we had to move by December 29th! Thank you to all the patient and understanding souls for my delayed responses during that time. My computer was literally in boxes and my phone was overwhelmed with emails. Fast forward to present day, we’re finally all settled in, unpacked, and in love with our space and new neighborhood! I can’t wait for the cold to ease back a bit and the snow to stop so I can actually get out and explore :)

So that helps explain a bit of my absence of both the blog and Facebook. Just so many things going on in a normally quiet time of the year for me! I have a to-do list the size of my leg to get done, mainly blog posts!

I am so excited to share these blog posts with you full of beautiful families and effortless love. Although cliche, each year honestly keeps getting better and better! At the end of each year, I sit back and look at what happened. And each year I’m amazed by the progress and the change and the sincere love I’ve been part of. The precious life moments that so many of you can’t take back. It means the world that you’ve shared those moments with me and have entrusted in me to capture them for you as they happen <3

So much love pours out for all of my blog readers (for sticking through me when I’ve been a bit sporadic with posts), for all of my clients/friends who have continued to stand by me and support me and entrust me with life’s moments, for my husband for always being my support as I chase this passion of mine, and just for life for giving me this opportunity. Photography has always been the one thing that’s made me so happy, and will continue to be where my heart lies <3

As I look to 2015, I am already so excited at what’s in store! So many gorgeous weddings, and the most fabulous of couples. Mothers who are giving birth and want me to capture their babies first few moments. Families who continue to capture their children as they grow so quickly in this crazy life of ours. I look forward to lots of change, time to discover my capabilities and how far I can go. I hope to meet more of you, to connect to you all more regularly, to be behind the camera more than behind my computer. But most of all, I look forward to continuing to have the ability to hold my camera in my hand and do what I love <3 Happy New Year to you all!
