Where do I start with these two? I’ve known Annie for awhile. I met her back in college at U of I! Her brother is best friends with Jake and lived literally right next door (as in the door one foot to the right) – from now on to be referred to as the Lucky 7 and Ocho. Fast-forward to 2016, I run into her AND her (new to me) boyfriend Nick at Kristin + Phil’s wedding. Immediately knew this dude was awesome. I mean, he was in a sweet pinstripe suit and was killing it! Jake got to meet him at their engagement party, which I wasn’t able to be at because I was shooting a wedding. After a few inside jokes from that day, Nick immediately became “the perfect fit” for Annie and has ever since been one of my favorite people! So when they asked me to shoot their engagement, I was crazy excited. And then when they asked me to shoot their wedding next year at St. Francis Winery in Sonoma, CA? Well I about jumped for joy. K, let’s be honest. I did jump. A lot. Here’s to you guys… and Walter <3
