Welp I already opened my heart already earlier in another post about Mother’s Day being today, so I’ll just cut to the cute little dude and what’s going on this past month :)

Baby // The little dude continues to be super mobile. He wants to walk literally along everything and with every toy! He’s become quite the little character :) Jake has been teaching him basketball (here’s praying he will be tall!), and after every shot he makes we would clap for him to reinforce the good things he was doing. Well the little stinker now has claps for himself after every basket he shoots, every tasks he completes. It’s pretty adorable. He even looks at you as if to say “I did it momma, I did it!” He loves playing with intricate toys with numerous parts, trying to problem solve and figure everything out! Also in the arena of playing, the kid LOVES to be chased around the house. He starts chuckling and you can hear a hurry up in his squeals and breathing. He tries to walk or crawl as fast as he can to get away! What is he not doing this month? Napping. Instead he decides that while in his crib for a nap, he’d rather be standing up and jumping in his crib. Cool, right? He’s also learned how to sign, which has been awesome! It helps us understand his needs much better since he can’t speak his needs just yet! He does talk lots with us! So much that I swear you’d think we were having a conversation! But he’s not so much into strangers. Total stranger danger mode right now, even with close family. He just curls into me or Jake and gets shy OR gives his famous pout-pout face! Every day that passes, he’s becoming more fun and lovable every day!

Momma // I just can’t keep my eyes off this kid! Not just because he’s super mobile, but because he’s doing so many awesome things. Learning so many awesome new skills. Figuring out toys. It’s so fun watching him problem solve. I swear, I could literally watch him all day. Which makes me now feel like the parents I used to think were creepy. But hey, I love this kid <3 And for all those that know how much I’ve been dreading next month’s post, I have started planning his first birthday. Refusing to believe it’s already been a year, but I’m at least planning <3
