Finally it’s summertime. It felt like it took forever to get here, but finally mid-June we’re getting the pool-side type weather! With summer comes fun accessories and cute airy outfits. This week’s OBSESSION OF THE WEEK is devoted to summertime style.

A month or two ago, I decided it was time to finally get a nice watch. I had originally had my eye on this Michael Kors watch. This was the one that I thought I wanted – big, blinged out, gold, and just sparkles everywhere! I literally was in love with it for over a year. I finally went in to go buy it and discovered this watch by Marc Jacobs. I had seen it online but it just seemed too simple and figured I wouldn’t like it on. And then I tried it on and fell in love. The simplicity of it is so gorgeous and classy and, well, just timeless. While I was there, I found an amazing and complimentary Kate Spade bracelet and earrings. My love blossomed for white + gold that day.

I absolutely love the clean look of gold paired with white. It’s fresh and beautiful, plus white makes us all look tanner :) PLUS white + gold goes with everything!

For someone like me who doesn’t want to have 1,000,000 pieces of accessories laying around, this duo is perfect. White + gold is the most versatile color duo to exist. And if you plan to spend a bit more money on some nicer key statement pieces, going with something neutral like this will be a perfect investment.
