Okay guys, this is seriously one of my fave sessions to date! There’s something so sweet about in-home newborn sessions (DISCLAIMER: I consider newborns to be anything under 2-3 months). They’re one of my favorite things to shoot! I find that families tend to be and/or act more natural when they’re in their home setting. It’s so natural and personal. It allows me to truly capture the family as they are! I always get all warm and fuzzy inside. Seeing the new parents holding their little babe, the quick love glances that the mom and dad give each other as if to say “holy cow, I still can’t believe we made this beautiful little babe.” The sweet way the mother holds her new baby, the father so proud. It’s a beautiful beautiful thing!

This is exactly the type of session that I had with Emily + Jacob who welcomed in their new baby girl, Mattie, into their family this past fall. Emily + Jacob welcomed me into their beautiful home where I was giddy at all the natural light that was pouring into their windows! NOTE: For any in-home session, natural light is a huge component to ensure the images are pure and beautiful <3

We spent the morning around their house, playing with little Mattie, being in awe at all her cute little fingers and toes. Emily + Jacob are just so full of love for their baby girl. The happiness radiates out of them! They’re the sweetest family and I couldn’t be happier for them <3
