When I first met Stacia to talk about her wedding, it was on her way to work at Lurie’s Children’s Hospital. It was just us two chatting like girls do about details and exciting things that come with weddings! She started to describe her boo, Tom. He seemed to be this character, the funny time. She warned me that he was dreading taking engagement pictures. Uh-oh! Of course I convinced her that by the time of the engagement session, I’d have him happy and excited and it’d be fun!

So comes the engagement session. We met up at Cantigny Park out in Wheaton. Oh my, what a beautiful plot of land!! It was the location of one of their early dates one cold fall day. Immediately from meeting Tom, I totally got why these two are together. They’re so adorable together, always laughing and smiling. Tom indeed is the character. And a personal win, I think I got him to have some fun. He gave me not only smiles and tons of personality, he even gave me an Indian rain dance (though I don’t think it’s the official one) along with some sweet jumping skills (I bet he was the kid that always splashes into puddles). I had so much fun with these two and cannot wait for their wedding this July at Seven Bridges!!!
