When I first met Cassie, I just knew I wanted to shoot her wedding. The girl is a fashionista. No really, she is! Do you remember her engagement session? And then when she started telling me all the details of their day and how her wedding dress was a crop top, I just knew it was bound to be the prettiest thing and at one of my favorite venues – Lehmann Mansion! Add on to that the fact that these two are just beautiful people inside and out, it’s safe to say I had a serious countdown happening leading up to this wedding!
The morning started at her dad’s house. All her girls were over getting glammed up and sipping champagne. I finally saw her dress, which was so amazing yet simple and classic. Once she put it on? What a showstopper! When I asked her dad if he wanted to do a first look with his daughter, he started tearing up. From there, I just knew the day was going to be full of such emotion and love. It was so easy to see the love her dad has for her.
After what was a beautiful and moving ceremony, we headed to Lehmann Mansion for the reception! Remember the love I told you that her dad has for her? Well he surprised her by writing Cassie and John a song, performed by their family friend Patrick Mulvey. After that? The most packed dance floor!
So excited to finally be able to share this wedding! Enjoy all the pretty!
