I swear, one day I looked at this dude and he went from being a baby to a toddler. The same thing happened around 2 months when he went from a newborn to a fully functioning baby. I mean, good God life goes by fast! Here’s what’s new at 9 months :)

Baby // This kid is growing like crazy. Growth spurts are no joke, babes. Like literally one day you wake up and he’s a whole new little human. Of course the common theme is that I love this kid more and more each day. He’s become fully mobile, and he’s obsessed with it. He loves being independent, being able to move where ever he wants without help. I turn my head for 2 seconds and he’s across our place and into Brick’s water bowls. He’s most recent obsession is standing… on anything. He thinks he’s pretty cool and likes to show off. He’s learning to move his feet and is even doing some movement along the couch. I swear he’ll be walking before I know it! His other obsession? Mangoes. He used to eat every single thing under the sun. He loved food. But for the past 1-2 weeks, he’s only wanted pure mangoes. So mangoes he gets. He officially has 8 teeth, which our doctor was super shocked and said it was an incredible amount for a 9 month old! He’s also becoming more and more social by waving at everyone and clapping at things that excite him. But he also has random times where he’s super bashful around new faces. It’s pretty adorable!

Momma // It sounds super corny, but this kid seriously redefines what it means to love unconditionally and also how much love I’m capable of. I swear every single day I discover that I’m capable of even more love for him than the day before. There are some days where I look at him and get so excited because I see me. Yes, just me. Not daddy. ME! But then a few days later, he’s back to being daddy’s boy! I’m in utter shock that this kid is so close to walking. Holy cow, dude. He’s growing so fast. And talking so much. I absolutely love just watching him. I find myself spending so much time in the day just watching him experience the world. Seeing his adorable serious face as he focuses on something. Melts my heart <3
