WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK MY DATE?

I require a 50% retainer along with your contract to book our date together. For lifestyle portrait sessions, the final 50% is due on the day of the event. For weddings, 25% is due 6 months before the wedding with the final 25% being due 2 weeks before the wedding.

 

FOR YOUR WEDDING COLLECTIONS, YOU OFFER A SECOND PHOTOGRAPHER. WHO WOULD THAT BE?

I am part of the most amazing network of professional wedding photographers in Chicago. Once your wedding date is set, I reach out in my network to find another photographer that fits with my style. They’re some of the kindest, most fabulous and talented people around <3

 

WHAT SHOULD WE WEAR TO OUR SESSION?

As part of my digital magazine I send to all my clients, you’ll have a “what to wear” guide. As a general rule of thumb – stay away from being matchy-matchy. Instead, opt for clothes that compliment each other. Color photographs really well! And accessorize!! I love some good accessories, even if it’s just pretty earrings and a fabulous watch! I love fashion and pretty things, so if you are struggling and still don’t know what to do, I’m here to text pictures to or hit the stores to shop!

 

OUR WEDDING ISN’T IN CHICAGO. ARE YOU AVAILABLE TO TRAVEL?

Yes!!! I have a current passport and a super cute travel bag! I am ready to travel wherever life takes us, whether it be downstate Illinois, Colorado, or out of the country!

 

ONCE OUR PORTRAITS/WEDDING IS OVER, HOW WILL WE RECEIVE THE IMAGES?

I’ll send you all of the hi-resolution images via an online private gallery where you can download direct. You can also order prints off of your gallery from one of my favorite professional print labs that only photographers have access too!

 

CAN I UPLOAD THE IMAGES TO FACEBOOK ONCE I GET THEM?
Absolutely!!! You can use the photos in any way you want aside from selling them or entering them into contests that provide money to the winners. Regardless of how you share the photos, I kindly request that you add the below photo credit to the description of each image (tagging my page on social media – @Jenna Marie Photography on Facebook, @jennamarie_photo on Instagram).

I LOVE THE PHOTOS!! CAN I SEE THE UNEDITED PHOTOS YOU TOOK DURING OUR SESSION/WEDDING?
No way Jose! I am quite the perfectionist and hold everything I do to a high standard. The images I capture and provide to you are a representation of me, and I only want the best and most beautiful images for you! Leave it to me to narrow things down – filtering out all of the half blinks, test shots I do to get my camera settings correct, and any shots that didn’t turn out. Trust me, you don’t want those!

 

DO YOU OFFER ALBUMS?
Of course! I offer a number of physical products that will help show off your beautiful photography and all the special moments in your life <3 Albums, prints, canvases, you name it!

 

I CANNOT WAIT TO PRINT IMAGES. WHO SHOULD I PRINT THROUGH?
As I mentioned above, I do offer prints! Think about how much time and money you invest into getting gorgeous images. Don’t all of a sudden become frugal and print at Wal-Mart. Do your images justice. Printing through your photographer is always recommended, as I have access to some amazing print labs that the general public does not. Trust me, it’s not as expensive as you’d think! Plus printing through print labs will ensure that the images, when printed, will match exactly what you see on screen.
