Lake Geneva + a yacht club? Yea, I’m sold. Jennifer + Matt got married on a gorgeous September day lakeside, surrounded by 30 people in the most beautiful and intimate day!

We started at the Abbey Resort where Jennifer was the most relaxed bride ever. After getting into her gorgeous dress, we headed over to the Lake Geneva Yacht Club for her first look with Matt! If you haven’t been to Lake Geneva, you need to. And if you haven’t seen this yacht club, you need to. It’s just stunning all around!

Matt grew up at the Lake Geneva Yacht Club. For as long as he can remember, he spent summers here in sailing school. But back then, this wasn’t the big gorgeous place it is now. From Matt, it used to be a very small building. Whereas now it’s a big two story just gorgeous space! When you step inside, there’s history all over the walls. Model boats after real boats that his dad’s friends raced. Trophies with his best friends names on them growing up. With every turn, new memories from his childhood! A post on the wall of races his dad won. It’s things like that. Places that are so tied to who we are that make me so inspired.

On a gorgeous fall day at sunset, walking out onto that dock, you feel a sense of calmness. A sense of beauty. A sense of peace. And happiness. What a perfect way to celebrate your wedding!
