Hanna + John’s engagement session at North Avenue Beach goes down in the books as the windiest session ever. There were wave and wind warnings throughout Chicago. But we were motivated to do the session rain or shine. And so we showed up at North Ave. And guess what? The wave warnings of 15 foot waves were real. We ventured around the lakefront cautiously. But even at 30 feet away from the edge, I still just about got taken out by a massive 10+ foot wave. Our session was full of laughs, quick sprints, and embracing Mother Nature. I love how the wind picked up Hanna’s hair at the right time. That movement can be such magic!
