Annie + Nick have to be two of my favorite people. I don’t know if it’s Annie’s sass and spunk? Her insane confidence and witty humor. Or maybe it’s Nick’s sarcasm and that big smile. Whatever it is, these two just rank at the top of my “favorite human list.” I met Annie back in college. Her brother was one of my (now) husband’s best friends (still is) and neighbors! Roof as we will further call him. Being the younger sister, Annie became A-Roof. They’re one of my favorite families! So when Annie asked me to shoot her wedding, I was equally honored, humbled, and straight up ecstatic!

This past Memorial Day weekend, I (along with my ever amazing long-time second shooter, Nikole) traveled out to Sonoma, California for their wedding! Knowing Annie’s sense of style, I knew their wedding was going to be amazing! From the moment I got to Casa Bella, you could feel the excitement filling the house! And if you haven’t been to Casa Bella Sonoma, you’re missing out! It’s a dream getting ready home with enough room for everyone to get ready, plus tons of room to lounge outside and hang out! Annie got ready in the main house while Nick got ready in the guest house.

I was in tears just the entire day! From Roof helping Annie put on her shoes, to Annie + Nick’s tear-filled first look. These two are just so perfect for each other! And their ceremony? Don’t get me started. Annie’s mom and brother all in tears as Annie’s dad walked her down the aisle. The ever emotional, heart-felt yet totally hilarious vows that left everyone there crying. To the tears of laughter as their bridal party gave speeches, speaking to just how amazing of people these two are!

And the scenery? St. Francis couldn’t be a more gorgeous venue to confess your utter love for one another <3 The mountains, the vineyard, the colors, the smell. Just perfection <3
